Walk with a Friend in Forest Park

Today’s delight: a three hour conversation with a dear friend as we strolled through the beautiful Forest Park in near-perfect weather. We rested on the benches as we chose. We watched turtles being fed. Saw a wedding party gathering, but did not linger for the event. Spoke with a man with a stylish haircut who comes to the park to fish for relaxation. Saw an egret in flight, a killdeer on her nest with eggs, robins and red-winged blackbirds aplenty. A well spent afternoon.
