This is Euphorbia dendroides. I think it looks like an ear with moss growing on it. I have never seen a plant that grows like this before. This is in the Linnean House at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.

Nature’s ear…..Listening, listening…. well that was the thought that popped into my head when I saw it LOL! Definitely a Dr Seuss plant :-).
