When I do need to buy new items, I do a bit of research to find companies that operate in line with my values. While they may not be the cheapest option available to me, cheaply made can mean that workers are not being paid a fair wage and also have negative consequences for the environment. I prefer to vote with my money and my privilege to make the world a better place.

Bombas socks are so good! I gave them as Christmas gifts a few years ago, and everyone liked them.:-)

I really like those sneakers & I checked out the website. I wish they came in a wide size, as I have an “old lady” bunion on one foot & regular width shoes are just too narrow. The sneakers you bought look really comfortable.

I think there are some cool shoe companies that specialize in wide widths. Maybe do a search for those? I understand not wanting to buy shoes that you have not tried on, but once you find a company that suits you, you can look for local retailers or ask their customer service folks for recommendations.
