Sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking. And I am not one for take-out. The expense! The excess packaging! The useless plastic forks that they put in the bag, even if you say, “Pretty please, no cutlery.” For me, the answer is food prep. When I put in a bit of effort on day 1, I give myself the gift of day 2 and 3 with none. These colorful containers include steamed broccoli, boiled quinoa and jarred Tiki Masala sauce. Each serving has 291 calories, 450 mg of sodium and 11 grams of protein.
I don’t like take-out-food trash, either, SO wasteful! These meals are visually appealing, Fawn, and my mom used to say you can make a meal taste even better by paying attention to the presentation.

Looks good. I love steamed broccoli. Have to admit those sauces make life easy when short of time and they are delicious. Thanks for an idea for dinner tonight. Delicious and frugal!

It is astonishing to me how much protein is in broccoli. I mean, it is green, for goodness sake!
